Abstract | Objectives: The existing literature demonstrates a need for more effective treatments and support for people diagnosed with “eating disorders”. The limited research available demonstrates the potential for yoga to be helpful as a treatment for “eating disorders”. However, only one study investigated people’s experiences of yoga and “eating disorders”, and none looked at the aspects of yoga that people may find more or less helpful. This study aimed to explore women’s experiences of yoga practice in relation to their experiences of “eating disorders”, with the hope of identifying such aspects. |
