Abstract

Levothyroxine replacement
therapy does not improve symptoms or quality of life when
compared to placebo in patients with subclinical hypothyroidism. However, there is some evidence that thyroid hormone
replacement may improve some parameters of lipid profiles and
left ventricular function.
