Abstract

This report reviews the progress of the Lea Bridge 'Gateway to Opportunity' Single
Regeneration Budget (SRB) programme from April 1996 for five years, building on CIS
evaluation including two business surveys, three project evaluations, and two interim
programme evaluations. In the final year an additional business survey, one project
evaluation, and interviews with partnership board members, project leaders and
partner organisations were carried out. Partnership meetings were attended and
baseline data collected. Findings are based on an analysis of project monitoring and
output data, statistics relating to the local area, survey results and qualitative
interviews.
