Abstract

This dataset contains the responses gathered by the University of East London Survey on Research Data Management 2019. Responses were collected using the Jisc Online Surveys tool and exported to Excel. A blank copy of the survey is also included.

The survey was based on that which was developed for the Jisc Data Asset Framework Toolkit (DOI: 10.5281/zenodo.177876)

Data collection method

Responses were collected anonymously using the Jisc Online Surveys tool. The questions were based on those used in the survey developed for the Jisc Data Asset Framework Toolkit.

Data preparation and processing activities

Responses were exported from Jisc Online Surveys software to Microsoft Excel, upon which the spreadsheet was checked to ensure it contained no personal data. A sheet was added to list the survey questions and their corresponding question number in the Jisc Data Asset Framework Toolkit survey that the UEL survey was based on.
