Abstract

This project report focusses on the evaluation of the effect of the installation of a noise barrier located on a small section of the A 12 outside Bromley by Bow station The study comprises a baseline study conducted before the installation of the barrier as well as a follow up study after the barrier was installed Data on actual noise levels, and public perception were gathered in both the baseline and follow up studies through noise monitoring, street surveying and focus groups.
