Abstract

In this chapter I discuss situated intersectionality as a dialogical way of knowing which encompasses different situated gazes, going beyond the dichotomy of universalism/relativism. I shall illustrate this, using examples from our research on Everyday bordering in which situated intersectionality has been used as a research methodology. At the end of my chapter I discuss different forms of solidarity, particularly transversal solidarity which is based on a different kind of dialogical epistemology
