Abstract | An imperative issue that impedes economic, social, and environmental progress is the involvement of the middle tier in public institutions. Due to inadequate transparency and clandestineness in establishments, the trust in procurement process has become a predominant concern that affects many nations around the world. Governments across the globe have begun exploring cutting-edge technologies to improve procurement transparency and integrity. Blockchain is an emerging technology that comprises the potential for generating substantial advancement in the public procurement domain by establishing transparent, immutable, and autonomous processes. |
