Abstract

This report provides a data commentary on undergraduates at the University of East London (UEL) who were designated in one of three “at risk” groups: Accelerate, Advance and Gain. The report provides a description of each of the “programmes” and brief commentary on Accelerate, Advance and Gain students by a range of background characteristics including: gender, ethnicity, age on entry and academic school of study. The report concludes with a number of proposals to ensure that UEL provides its students with the teaching and learning experience they need and deserve.
