Abstract

The purpose of this paper is to understand the stress levels of employees which can cause mental health issues, especially when working from home and how it impacts on their performance level. During the COVID-19 pandemic, there were different challenges experienced by the employees both personally and professionally. This paper discusses and explores the different stress levels experienced by employees and the type of support employers offer to improve their mental health. The paper uses the pandemic scenario and secondary sources to explore the study in detail. Recommendations to the policymakers are detailed within the study which can be used by human resources and senior management to deal with the issues of mental health.
