Abstract | These two books are presentations of the writings of the Lev Semyonovich Vygotsky (1896–1934). The Anthology presents manageable extracts from many of Vygotsky’s most important work, some of them in new versions or translations. Censorship and misunderstanding caused some earlier havoc with his writing. Vygotsky the Teacher is a lucid and useful presentation of the main themes of his large body of work. |
