| Abstract | In a previous article (OM 113) I argued that the kinds of language and concepts available in mental health services had a number of negative consequences. In this article I want to put forward some practical suggestions for change. Because my focus is on expert language, these suggestions are directed mainly at mental health professionals, but I hope others will find them of interest too. |
