Abstract | Based on social learning and self-determination theory, this study empirically investigated 36 positive leadership and employees’ pro-environmental behavior topics (N = 15745). The meta-analytic structural equation modeling approach was used for a systematic review, resulting in the following phased conclusions. There is a significant positive correlation between positive leadership and employees’ pro-environmental behavior, environmental motivation mediates the relationship between positive leadership and employees’ pro-environmental behavior, and industry category and research design rigor significantly moderate the relationship between positive leadership and employees’ pro-environmental behavior. This research clarifies the authentic relationship between positive leadership and employees’ pro-environmental behavior, opens the black box between the two, and expands the boundary conditions between them. |
